Recipes from Home\u201d is a collection of stories and recipes from one of the largest culinary cultures in the world, written by two young passionate cooks Dina Mousawi and Itab Azzam.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The book is a celebration of the taste, culinary culture and raw materials of Syria and, at the same time, a celebration of what food and memory can represent for people and for the identity of a nation. The two authors met Syrian women in the Middle East and in Europe, spending months cooking with them, learning their recipes, listening to their stories, maintaining a strong culinary identity.<\/p>\n<p>Dina and Itab are among the special guests of the festival 2018, with a <strong>Show Cooking (Saturday 14 April, Scuola d\u2019Arte Culinaria Cordon Bleu)<\/strong>, a <strong>book presentation \u00a0(Thursday 12, Cinema La Compagnia, 7.30pm)\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>an aperitif (Saturday\u00a014, Cinema La Compagnia, 8.00pm).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cOur Syria.
