{"id":9966,"date":"2018-04-08T01:01:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-07T23:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/middleastnow.it\/the-artist-residency-in-collaboration-with-crossway-foundation-ahaad-alamoudi\/"},"modified":"2018-04-09T22:28:44","modified_gmt":"2018-04-09T20:28:44","slug":"the-artist-residency-in-collaboration-with-crossway-foundation-ahaad-alamoudi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/middleastnow.it\/en\/the-artist-residency-in-collaboration-with-crossway-foundation-ahaad-alamoudi\/","title":{"rendered":"The artist residency in collaboration with CROSSWAY FOUNDATION: Ahaad Alamoudi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The recipient of the third edition of the <strong>&#8220;Middle East Now x Crossway Foundation Residency Programme&#8221;<\/strong> is <strong>Ahaad Alamoudi<\/strong>, a young artist born and raised between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Ahaad recently graduated from the Royal College of Art in London with an MA in Printmaking, and is now back in Saudi Arabia teaching at Dar Al Hekma University in Jeddah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">During the festival,\u00a0Ahaad will present the project <strong>\u201cThe Message Has Been Sent\u201d with an installation at Cinema La Compagnia<\/strong>, a video piece reflecting the translated comic strip of the character Cheetah. The females within her piece will recreate different sculptural forms inspired by Florence and the sculptures that surround it. Ahaad Alamoudi will be in residence at\u00a0<strong>Villa La Pietra in\u00a0collaboration with New York University
