The first edition of the “Middle East Now x Crossway Foundation Residency Programme” is the result of a close partnership between the festival and the Crossway Foundation, one the most important organisations\u00a0promoting young creatives from the Middle East. <\/span><\/p>\n

The recipient of the residency is Mohammed Al Kindi aka “Chndy”, a young artist born and raised in Oman. Chndy works with photography, graphics and video, reflecting on the language of advertising with an avant-garde and ironic twist. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Florence, he will carry out a specific project for the festival, giving us an insight into part of his world.\u00a0Chndy will be in residence at\u00a0Villa La Pietra in\u00a0collaboration with\u00a0 New York University Florence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
