Young Iraqis demand access to employment, social eqaulity and the end of the totally corrupt political regime. Most of those killed were shot dead with live ammunition, others suffered fatal injuries from tear gas canisters fired at close range at demonstrators. In addition, water cannons were used, spraying boiling water.<\/span>
